SlabEcho models propagation of elastic (dilatational only) waves in thin layers of solid isotropic materials. You specify the wave boundary conditions at the front and back boundaries.
SlabEcho is meant to be a design and evaluation estimation and comparison tool for resolving certain engineering issues. It can be used to compare differing damage mitigation techniques in thin, multi-layered slabs, where one-dimensional response is appropriate.
A library of 39 solid materials is included and some example test cases. The user may easily add to or modify either of these libraries.
